Job Description:
SUMMARY
The primary purposes of this position are to work closely with business unit to create new or improved business processes/system, review and research business processes/system to identify issues or potential; enhancements, present findings and solutions to business unit, coordinate the testing and validation efforts to ensure process/system changes will integrate effectively into the overall business process, and work with various groups (e.g. technology developers, managers) to implement solutions that are in line with strategic goals and that specifically improve workflow. The primary focus of this position is maintaining the Paid Time Off module. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
* Plan, conduct, and direct the analysis and documentation of technical systems and organizational processes for the Paid Time Off system; perform daily maintenance on the system to assure allotment is received timely and accurately.
* Work with various business units to identify requirements for new projects and advise them on the most appropriate technical solutions to their business needs.
* Analyze and document business processes and workflows; make recommendations to enhance and standardize these processes.
* Participate in cross-divisional projects working on complex topics.
* Assist in the preparation of business cases by identifying requirements and providing time and cost estimates for proposed changes; upon approval, define plan and requirement, them implement.
* Generate electronic extract files for service providers; translate business needs into technology specifications.
* Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge/awareness; communicate potential risks and assess opportunities
* Maintain regular communication and coordination between all relevant business areas.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization; assist with problem resolution.

10. Extract specific data for company’s review and analysis; download from AS400 into Excel spreadsheets.

* Typing speed of 60 WPM.
* Proficiency with the Microsoft®Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and/or other database applications or query tools.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field, plus a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a business and/or process analysis role; experience working with payroll systems and large databases using v-lookups and formulas is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
