Job Description:
SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to provide project support to IS Support departments as directed by executive management. Project support to be given with regard to standardized procedures, training, and documentation, as well as Sarbanes Oxley compliance initiatives and chain wide hardware and software rollouts. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
* Investigate and implement new support projects and procedures across the chain (if store related) or across the support departments (if department related). Implement standards, communicate requirements, and follow up to confirm compliance and project completion.
* Prepare detailed project plans, determine timelines, and identify resources for projects with internal and external departments as well as outside vendors as required.
* Participate in audit and project reviews to analyze the effectiveness of existing support initiatives and make recommendations as required to further automate existing manual procedures and improve efficiency.
* Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley IT testing and reporting. Document and distribute status reports for SOX as well as new and existing IT Support projects.
* Coordinate project execution to include training and documentation efforts to ensure timely completion of support projects as well as identify checkpoints to confirm projects are on schedule and issues resolved.

* Typing speed of 40 WPM.
* Proficiency with the Microsoft®Office Access.
Education:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required (IS, or related degree preferred), plus two (2) years’ previous experience in Project Management Office (PMO) and/or certification required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley accounting requirements or previous audit experience preferred.
