Job Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a source of information about products andservices provided by Rite Aid. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safemanner consistent with corporate policies and applicable laws.

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

• Utilize specialized knowledge of product categories to provide excellent customer service and promote health and wellness.
• Guide customers, with the support of the pharmacist, as they make purchasing decisions on products related to their wellbeing (vitamins, OTC, specialty foods etc).
• Achieve or exceed sales targets through customer education and one on one sales.
• Effectively partner and communicate with the pharmacists to assist customers in the selection of products.
• Support, embrace and implement new initiatives to support wellness and health trends.
• Act as a liaison between Rite Aid and the community by performing community outreach activities including immunization outreach, senior citizen center visits, health care provider visits, and fitness center visits.
• Organize, promote, and facilitate a monthly community health event in the Wellness Format stores.
• Develop and maintain merchandising displays for the health and wellness categories in accordance with the plan-o-grams.
• Promote pharmacy and wellness services and support script growth initiatives.
• Continue to expand knowledge of health trends and new products to educate customers.
• Engage customers to complete a vitamin profile to grow the category.
Experience / Requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years old for business travel.
• Ability to pass drug test.
• Committed to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work weekends on a regular basis.
• Ability to work extended days on an occasional basis.
• Ability to work day or evening hours.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.
• Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
• Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.
• Typing speed of 40 WPM.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft® Office Suite (Word and Internet Explorer).
Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus one (1) year experience in the retail or healthcare industry with experience in vitamin and/or OTC medicine; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to protect company and store assets by enforcing loss prevention policies and procedures and providing customer service. The incumbent is required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

• Monitor the daily activities of assigned store and prevent internal and external (shoplifting/theft) losses.
• Maintain the physical security of assigned store by conducting daily audit of store to ensure that all alarms, closed circuit television (CCTV), and locks are functioning properly.
• Conduct routine bag checks on associates and maintain log book.
• Conduct Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) audits and maintain log book.
• Train store associates on loss prevention policies and procedures and shrink management.
• Assist Loss Prevention Manager with internal investigations and other special projects as necessary.
• Assist DM/PMD/LPM in completing SMT’s.
• Complete safety and sanitation reports and take corrective action to solve issues.
• Monitor receiving procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage customer service and duties assigned by the store manager.
• Uses civil demand and/or arrest when necessary, following all company policies and procedures.
Experience / Requirements:

• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Ability to pass drug test.

Job Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide direction and assistance in the completion of daily merchandise and operating tasks and to perform such other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager. The incumbent is required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and applicable laws. This position does not involve, hiring, firing, or disciplining associates or recommending any such action. Situations surrounding these issues should be brought to the attention of the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager.

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

• Provide superior customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs, handling all customer transactions in a timely and courteous manner, and responding to customer complaints/concerns with a sense of urgency to see to their resolution.
• Attend to merchandising of plan-o-grams within seasonal departments, end caps, displays and basic inline departments as directed by the Store Manager and/or the Assistant Store Manager.
• Control inventory by performing proper receiving and stocking including accurate cycle counting, processing merchandise transfers according to procedures, and reporting inventory problems to the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager.
• Accountable for store cash and other financial assets, reconciling cash register drawers, preparing deposits, and ordering changes from the bank as directed by the Store Manager and/or the Assistant Store Manager.
• Assist with the general maintenance and appearance of the store by ensuring a safe and pleasing environment for both customers and associates; respond to any unexpected emergencies to ensure the protection of company assets.
• Oversee that store inventory is regularly inspected in accordance with the Product Freshness Review Schedule as directed by the Store Manager and/or the Assistant Store Manager.
• Ensure that all outdated product and product with less than 30 days until expiration is removed from the sales floor to be processed through the established returns process.
• Manage tasks and supervise store associates in those limited circumstances when the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable.

Supervisory Experience:

This position involves managing tasks and supervising store associates in those limited circumstances when the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable. This position does not involve, hiring, firing, or disciplining associates or recommending any such action, which should be brought to the attention of the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager.

Experience / Requirements:

• In accordance with state law, candidates must satisfy minimum age requirements to sell and/or supervise the sale of alcohol and/or tobacco products.
