Job Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide direction and assistance in the completion of daily merchandise and operating tasks and to perform such other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager. The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

• Provide superior customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs, handling all customer transactions in a timely and courteous manner, and responding to customer complaints/concerns with a sense of urgency to see to their resolution.
• Attend to merchandising of plan-o-grams within seasonal departments, end caps, displays and basic inline departments as directed by the Store Manager and/or the Assistant Store Manager.
• Control inventory by performing proper receiving and stocking including accurate cycle counting, processing merchandise transfers according to procedures, and reporting inventory problems to the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager.
• Accountable for store cash and other financial assets, reconciling cash register drawers, preparing deposits, and ordering changes from the bank as directed by the Store Manager and/or the Assistant Store Manager.
• Assist with the general maintenance and appearance of the store by ensuring a safe and pleasing environment for both customers and associates; respond to any unexpected emergencies to ensure the protection of company assets.
• Oversee that store inventory is regularly inspected in accordance with the Product Freshness Review Schedule as directed by the Store Manager and/or the Assistant Store Manager.
• Ensure that all outdated product and product with less than 30 days until expiration is removed from the sales floor to be processed through the established returns process.
• Manage tasks and supervise store associates in those limited circumstances when the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable.

Supervisory Experience:

This position involves managing tasks and supervising store associates in those limited circumstances when the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable. This position does not involve, hiring, firing, or disciplining associates or recommending any such action, which should be brought to the attention of the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager.

Experience / Requirements:

• In accordance with state law, candidates must satisfy minimum age requirements to sell and/or supervise the sale of alcohol and/or tobacco products.
• Ability to pass drug test.
• Committed to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.

Job Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager with serving customers and maintaining the Pharmacy department. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

1. Perform all functions and duties of a Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy Department.

3. Accept customer and prescription information required to process new and refill prescriptions, including refill authorization from doctor offices where permitted by state law.

5. Create prescription labels and put them on prescription containers where permitted by state law.
6. Place medication into prescription containers where permitted by state law.
7. Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and input customer and prescription data into the computer system where permitted by law.
8. Assist with maintaining the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean and in order.
9. Assist in inventory management processes including: order review, inventory returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory preparation.
10. Administer Rite Aid programs including: FlavoRx, Living More, etc.
11. Reconstitute oral liquids where permitted by state law.
Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus 600 practical hours working in retail and/or pharmacy operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position requires the following licenses and/or certifications:
- Pharmacy Technician certification where required by state law.
- Rite Aid Technician Training Program certification in all modules, job  class/codes up to and including “Pharmacy Technician”.
- Successful achievement of Rite Aid’s Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Job Description:

SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to provide direction and assistance in the completion of daily merchandise and operating tasks and to perform such other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager. The incumbent is required to perform all tasks in a safe
manner consistent with corporate policies and applicable laws. This position does not involve, hiring, firing, or disciplining associates or recommending any such action. Situations surrounding these issues should be brought to the attention of the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

1. Provide superior customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs, handling all customer transactions in a timely and courteous manner, and responding to customer complaints/concerns with a sense of urgency to see to their resolution.
2. Attend to merchandising of plan-o-grams within seasonal departments, end caps, displays and basic inline departments as directed by the Store Manager and/or the Assistant Store Manager.
3. Control inventory by performing proper receiving and stocking including accurate cycle counting, processing merchandise transfers according to procedures, and reporting inventory problems to the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager.
4. Accountable for store cash and other financial assets, reconciling cash register drawers, preparing deposits, and ordering changes from the bank as directed by the Store Manager and/or the Assistant Store Manager.
5. Assist with the general maintenance and appearance of the store by ensuring a safe and pleasing environment for both customers and associates; respond to any unexpected emergencies to ensure the protection of company assets.
6. Oversee that store inventory is regularly inspected in accordance with the Product Freshness Review Schedule as directed by the Store Manager and/or the Assistant Store Manager.
7. Ensure that all outdated product and product with less than 30 days until expiration is removed from the sales floor to be processed through the established returns process.
8. Manage tasks and supervise store associates in those limited circumstances when the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable.

SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to manage the direct store delivery (DSD) consumables categories in order to maximize sales and profit in an assigned geographic area including everyday and promotional planning and execution, as well as local vendor management. Primary focus is on the beer, wine, and liquor categories, while also supporting additional national initiatives for dairy, deli, frozen food, ice cream, bakery, snacks, soda, water, and juice categories. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
* Interact with local suppliers to negotiate costs, develop assortment, build promotional plans, and ensure that service expectations are met.
* Manage promotional plan to maximize sales and margin to include weekly ads, TPR pricing and monthly DSD Profit Planners.
* Manage retail pricing, both everyday and promotional, to maximize sales and profit.
* Analyze sales and margin results on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis; manage performance against the Liquor category profit and loss statement for area of responsibility.
* Conduct annual category review, develop plan-o-grams and coordinate implementation for the following DSD Consumables categories: Beverage, Beer, Wine, Liquor, Dairy, DSD Snacks, Ice Cream, Frozen Food, and Bakery.
* Conduct store visits and attend regional store operations meetings in assigned area.
* Support Licensing, Legal, and Operations departments related to liquor licensing issues and opportunities.
* Maintain complete understanding of state liquor laws and take leadership role in ensuring compliance related to sales, marketing, markdowns, and inventory handling.
* Partner with operations to manage inventory levels.
* 
Communicate with operations frequently regarding upcoming initiatives, programs, and promotions.

* Ability to pass drug test.

* Ten-key punch speed of four thousand (4,000) SPH.
* Typing speed of forty (40) WPM.
* Proficiency with the Microsoft®Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations
This position requires a valid driver’s license for business travel.
Education:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in business or retail, and/or five (5) years' experience in a retail environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Management experience would be helpful.
