Job Description:
SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to provide analytical and technical support, planning, and optimization for the efficient operation of the distribution centers. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
* Develop and maintain production goals and the ProRep productivity tracking system; provide technical support to the ProRep Systems Administrator when needed.
* Identify productivity improvements and cost savings opportunities within the distribution centers and interact with operations associates to implement new processes.
* Complete empirical analyses of existing processes and procedures and document all results.
* Identify capacity expansion opportunities and complete the associated feasibility studies.
* Perform financial cost-benefit analyses for existing and future processes within the distribution centers.
* Manage cross-functional teams to develop and execute small capital projects.
* Develop and maintain Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) drawings of the distribution centers and other drawings required to support the execution of projects.
* Identify and resolve ergonomic and safety issues within the distribution centers.
* Provide technical support to maintenance and operations associates in the distribution centers when needed.

Assist management associates with developing operating and capital budgets; act as the main contact point for the development, submittal, and tracking of all capital expenditure requests.

Coordinate distribution center and corporate resources to research and implement Supply Chain initiatives.

* Minimum age of 18 years old to travel for business purposes.
* Ability to pass drug test.

* Ability to work weekends on a frequent basis.
* Ability to work extended days on a regularly basis.

* Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.
* Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
* Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.
* Proficiency with the Microsoft®Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), Project, and Visio and CAD software.
* Ability to read and understand Software Functional Systems Descriptions, design documents, hardware specifications, and data flow diagrams.
A typing speed of sixty (60) WPM is helpful.
Education:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Industrial Engineering, plus three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in distribution/supply chain technology and operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition, previous experience with project management and time study techniques is helpful.
