Job Description:
SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to recruit and hire pharmacists for assigned regions. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
* Organize and implement plans to recruit pharmacists to fill preferred areas; recruit pharmacists from our competitors through direct services, cold calls, and canvassing.
* Maintain a pharmacist leads database for assigned regions, track offers made to potential associates and follow up on declined offers.
* Collaborate with Vice President of Professional & College Recruitment, Director of Pharmacy Staffing, Division Human Resource Director, Pharmacy Regional Vice Presidents, and Pharmacy District Managers to report field staffing statistics and coordinate advertising for open pharmacist positions.
* Communicate changes/updates in competitors compensation or benefit packages to the Pharmacy Regional Vice President and Division Human Resource Director
* Assist the Director of Pharmacy Staffing with college recruitment days at colleges within their area.

* Minimum age of 21 years old due to Education/Experience requirement.
* Ability to pass drug test.

* Ability to work weekends on an occasional basis.
* Ability to work extended days on an occasional basis.

* Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
* Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.
The following qualities are helpful:
* Ten-key punch speed of 4,000 SPH.
* Typing speed of 60 WPM.
* Proficiency with the Microsoft®Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations
This position requires a valid driver's license for business travel.
Education:
Bachelor's degree (BS) plus five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources or Pharmacist Professional Recruitment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
