More information about this job: Job Description: SUMMARY The primary purpose of this position is to provide information security expertise in the analysis, assessment, development and evaluation of security solutions and architectures to secure applications, operating systems, databases and networks. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and applicable laws.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: * Provide subject matter expertise and consulting in information security and risk management to business units, information technology organizations, support and operational functions. * Perform application and technology design reviews, security risk assessments, requirements analysis and risk remediation planning. * Provide research, analysis and guidance on management, operational and technical security requirements and solutions for business initiatives. * Lead the information security aspects of business initiatives and Information Technology projects to assist in mitigating security risks for information, business, and operational applications and systems across the company. * Develop and execute, with assistance, security strategies and plans. * Assist Information Technology associates in defining security requirements. * Develop, review and maintain security management policies, standards and practices; including technical Information Technology security standards.
